This month's subject is the Frazetta of the caricature world, Sebastian Krüger. His 'personality portraits' of celebrities sell for hundreds of thousands the world over.
For those of you new to the world of caricature, here's a sample of his work-

Some of you will find this month's jam a bit intimidating (I know I do). Hopefully it makes you push yourselves that little bit further.
It's hard to find decent photos of the man, so if you have any reference photos please post them on this thread.

Here's my shot. The likeness isn't really there, but in his photos he always seems to me like a big solid dude, so that's where I went with it. I spent over an hour doing this digitally, only to have a power failure minutes before completion (and saving). So instead I decided to try my new watercolor paints for the first time, so this is my first ever watercolor portrait, or painting for that matter....

Oh my sh#t! This Kruger guy is THEE greatest caricaturist I've ever seen after Al Hirshfeld!! Woooooooowwwww! What he does with Jagger and Richards is uncanny.
Now on to these caricature. Freakin' gorgeous and very on the money. I especially dig Viva's with the massive neck and all.
