November's Caricature jam is of Texan Hollywood actor, Tommy Lee Jones. Most recently you'll remember him from the movie, 'No Country for Old Men' and also from classics like 'The Fugitive' and 'Men In Black'.
He has quite a worn, weathered face so it should make for some interesting caricatures.
The link below has more than enough reference photos (over 2000!).

Have fun!

Holy Schmoly, great choice and great first one (of probably 12 that you'll do! ).
He could be Tommy Lee Frankenstein with all those crags and lines!
Hope to get a chance to give this a whirl, got a couple of portrait commissions to finish up (start) this month (yay! actual paying work!).

That is amazing, I always thought Tommy Lee Jones would be fun to draw, but never had the guts to take on all of the texture in that CRAGGY face!!!
Fantastic Illustration!!!

Great choice of subject, Chris - Tommy Lee Jones should be perfect for caricature, and yet you don't see him done much.
Brilliant kick off image too. That's a well-worn, lived-in face for sure.
Ian* - That's very weird, but also very him. You're right about the MS Paint original sketch having the slight edge on likeness.

cheers em.
His heads in the shape of Texas which is why it looks a bit odd. Might go back and fix it up to look more like the original sketch.

The ear shape was the thing that seemed most strange to me (kind of alien) but, knowing why, I think it's a fantastic idea, and it's surprising how well it suits his overall head shape.

That's great work, Chris, Ian. I like the Texas headshape idea too.
Here's my go I did a few months ago after I saw 'No Country for Old Men'. Fantastic film.
