Postby em... » Wed Oct 01, 2008 1:45 pm

This month's Jam is dedicated to practitioners of the arcane arts, either for good or for evil.

To start, the rough for a picture of the Wicked Witch of the West, which I'll be progressing throughout the month:

nice. It's remarkable how you can get a likeness so early. But, every little bit of detail helps, wether it be big or small! Really nice work.

Rod that looks awesome. just out of curiosity.. how much time did you put dow on this 'quickie'.
I always get a feeling of being extremely slow, paralyzed rather, when i see the word 'quick' and art of this magnitude in the same post...

Just remember that speed comes with time and practice. What is fast for one is slow for another.

I do love the Illyana though. Gorgeous line weights in your inking, and I love the pose.

Later!

It's far from finished but I'll be uploading it anyway, I need to just push me to be more active in this sort of community activity. I'm not sure whether I'll finish this piece itself or start with one made in real pencils and inks. Perhaps both, it's something I need to do anyway.

Don't mind the colors, I was teaching my cat how to paint digitally.
