Urban Horror Series Seeks Artist (Paid)

Postby SKZA » Wed Jul 11, 2012 10:48 am

I'm looking for an artist interested in teaming up on a pitch for Image Comics.

It's a 6 issue supernatural based series set at a newspaper in the present day, along the same vein as Brubaker's Fatale, or something like Hellblazer, except more dealing with the lives of real people. The concept and complete first script are all ready to go.

I pitched the concept to Image's publisher at the last New York Comic Con and he expressed a strong interest, so I'm certain we could get this considered.

I'd be paying to get a pitch package together, five pages minimum, completed pencils and inks (or we could try to drum up some funds on Kickstarter or Indie-Go-Go) and would be willing to discuss financial terms for how to make it agreeable arrangement after that.

The goal would be to get pages completed in time for this year's NYCC in early October.

But most of all I'm looking for someone who's interested in getting something started and seeing it through. Sound like you?
