I tried a slightly different method of doing my linework and doing my colors for this picture. I know I messed up the underlying drawing a bit (eye placement and the left forearm just jump out at me...) but I think the way the colors worked, as well as a lighter, less worked up "inking" turned out. Enough I thought I'd share the image. I think that the next images I work on will spend more time making sure the actual drawing is done better, but I'm going to try this coloring again.

The character is an original one from the comic I've been working on.

I was asked by a friend to do a picture of Jonni Future from Tom Strong's Terriffic Tales. She's not a character I'm tremendously familiar with, but the research was fun... partly because of her cheescakiest Cheesecake outfit, and partly because she's the co-creation of and usually drawn by the awesome Arthur Adams, one of my favorite comic artists ever. The final image should have her floating in "The Grand Array."

Done in Photoshop.

Ok, Wolverine has been inked and flatted. I'll be doing shading tomorrow. For the costume, I like design elements of his yellow and blues, but I was always more of a fan of the brown and orange suit from when I was a teenager. So, I've gone for a blend of the two. He's in the Danger Room here.

Wolvie's done. I'm not sure how I feel about this when all's said and done. I think I need a new way of coloring. I may need to do some color studies. Opinions, critiques and digital coloring advice welcome.

Working on a new image of a Silent from Doctor Who. I'd ask for feedback, but you'll forget it the moment you look away. ;)

A "Silent" from Doctor Who. For those that don't know them, these are the big bads that are the running undercurrent of the 11th Doctor's era. They are memory-proof... meaning that once you look away from them, you forget you ever saw them. And if they tell you something when you're looking at them, you'll subconsciously obey the instruction whilst never knowing you weren't coming up with it on your own.

These guys are seriously freaky... and all to keep the first question from ever being answered.

You'll love this picture... but you'll never remember why.

Aagh! I was adjusting a few things and I turned off the linework, and the effect was even creepier without the lines...
