Is it just me or is it literally impossible to yield any results when searching? No matter what I type, or what settings I choose under advanced search, I can't get anything to come back, even using very basic words like "sketch" or "draw".

I've been in and out here for the past few weeks but will attempt to get back in the saddle with some semi regular posts..
I have noticed though that some of the forums are picking up really weird adverts and spam posts.. Is there a way that users might be able to flag them for deletion by the forum managers?

Dear Moderator,

If anyone is listening, I would love to help restore this forum to it's former glory. There are forum issues that dissuade usage that I was wondering if we could fix. I don't want to sound ungrateful...I just want to make this place the utopia for artists I know it can be. I miss the artist community here and it's clearly not getting better.

1) Can attached images post full size in the body of the forum. I know it's being picky, but this forum was great for it's browsing speed. posting in another forum and linking is great, but for garnering new users and speedy posting can dissuade people.....and those thumbs just make things clunkier for viewing quickly.

2) Avatars were a great bonus that let people quickly identify artists. I miss them and I think they added a celebrity aspect to artists. I still can picture the avatars for my old favorite artists here.

3) I feel like there are to many categories in the forum. There's hardly a post a month in most of them. I think some could be paired down or focused.


These are small changes, but I think they could draw people back in a big way. It would be so simple to divert Facebook/Twitter followers to check stuff out here and get this place rolling again. Anyways, that's my two cents. I still feel like there is something special about the community vibe that this place offers that we just can't get from places like deviant art.
