So, finally I'm back again. This summer was really exiting for me. First my second son was born and on the other hand my book finally came out and it's really great. And I redesigned my site (it's in german) and blog. That's the reason why all the pictures here are gone, because I just started new.

It's a unbeleavable great time for me, I'm working on al lot of books and I just wanted to share my good feelings.

Here are some new images. Hope you like them.

congratulations for your son and for all the good things that are coming your way. Your past lives have piled up a pretty good karma for you, haven't they ? :-)

Woah! … Haven't been here for a very long time. But you know: Family, Work, Life …

I was and am mostly working on my new books (both novels), but recently I decided to draw a Comic again, a short story called "Beyond". It's going to be 18 pages long and will be told without text, so everybody will understand it (hopefully :-) ).

Here are a few designs of the characters and backgrounds. I will start drawing the comic in the next weeks. Hope you like it.

And here is a drawing of a game for my son who turned 5. I hope I will finish the coloration before he turns 6 :-).

Great work! Don't know how I missed it up to this point.

I love the book you posted a couple years ago (Die fanfare des Koenigs). At the bottom of the cover you have Baumhaus (Treehouse). Is that the name of your publishing company? It's great with the image!

You have a very appealing style.

Love it!

Thank you, Jiminator. The publisher's name is really Baumhaus-Verlag, but the cover was made long before they decided to print my book. It was simply a nice coincidence :-).

Here are some new characters for my comic-adaptation of "Das Wirtshaus im Spessart", a old fairy tale from germany. Hope you like them.

Love the new drawings! I used to be fluent in German, but over the years it has left me. I would love to read it!

I remember in college reading "Der Erlkönig", which gave me the chills! Also, the children's story "Der Schneider". I couldn't believe he actually cut off the boy's thumbs!

Greta stuff!

That's true. German fairy tales are often really brutal. The one I'm drawing is actually a transporter for four other stories told inside the main plot. Those will be illustrated by four different artists. They are all good friends of mine and I'm really lucky and happy that they are participating.

Thank you! :)

During the writing on the second novel of my Anna Fink trilogy I started to work on the chapter illustrations. And here is the first one. I hope you like it.

I'm currently working on a new project (which is going to be english too – a little later after the german version starts) with a friend of mine. We keep it secret yet but we have to do 50 illustrations (each one 25) till the end of this month. So I'm making one little watercolor a day, and it's a very good practice because I wanted to come back to watercolor for a long time. Today I finished the third one. Hope you like them.

By the way: The text in the second one means: "What? … Have you never seen a piece of art before?" The first makes no sense in english, the third means "chocolate".

Greetings

Very nice work, I love your style.

The weblink you posted a little ways up did not work for me. Is this correct: www.annafink.com ?
I look forward to more posts.
