Nosferatu

I like to paint at least one monster each year around Halloween. Here's my take on Max Schreck as what I think is still one of the coolest makeup jobs ever, the immortal bloodsucker Count Orlok, a.k.a. Nosferatu. I did this a little cartoonier than usual. Let me know what you think.

I like it. Was it intentional to have different size pupils?

Ummmmm....sure...I planned it that way. Sometimes it's the simplest things that slip by. Thanks.

I like it -it's a lot of fun! I like the palette...
I didn't find them noticeably so, but I wouldn't change asymmetric eyeballs on Nosferatu even if it's the case.
I don't think he's a subject where you worry about something like that. ;)

good work, as his right eye is closer to the camera its natural that sizes differ. sometimes people expect every thing so symmetrical and equal, they tend to forget the angle.

i like the head twist and his seducing look. nice colors as well.

Its fun. IMO given the fun theme, the difference in the size of eyes works well, adds to the cartoon effect

You already know I love it.

It tickles me that a few posts down from this is Maester's superb caricature of Klaus Kinski, who of course played the part in the remake.
