Gimp help

Postby nozsticks » Thu Oct 14, 2010 8:47 pm

hey, i'm pretty new to the digital coloring. im using gimp as i dont have the capital to buy photoshop. and im having trouble with one particular thing (at least i think its only one particular thing). ive learned how to layer the inkjob of the drawing, and then seperate it from the back ground, and iv been using paths to seperate out what i want to fill with bucket. but when i fill the color in on the background, the outline looks funny. they grays are staying completly gray instead of blending with the color on the background. anyone know how to fix that?

thanks

Path may need to be turned off...

If I understand you correctly, it sounds like your path is still "on". Look for a way to turn the path off after you complete your fill.
If ya mess with the big dawgs, ya might git bit!!
