I really like your fall piece. Seeing all the fall leaves around here has made me want to use those colors too.

Maybe it's just me, but I wonder if getting rid of the black lines in the leaves, or coloring them would make them pop a little better. Right now they kind of look dirty, at least on my monitor. I really like that contrast of color, so it'd be great to see it brought out.

Also, those textures on that drawing jam girl are sick!

Hey Bentan,

Go go go for those falltones, they're so pretty and they fade so fast. You're on to something about coloring those lines, but i didn't want to ' break' too much with the lines on the girl, for sake of consistency. You're correct that it does look dirty, i'm on an CRT so that might be the cause. Not coloring the lines or rather painting them in was a less successful decision, looking back, they just don't settle there.

I love playing with textures, though i admit it's an easy way out. They often influence my decisions about color or rendering, so i should tone that down a bit. But its so much fun!

OK, I'm one post behind, but I really dig your limited palette piece. I really love how the color pulls the whole thing together, but textures and the form on the girl are really great as well.
