Very often if you can make people laugh they will forget that you owe them
6 dollars

What if you owe them seven?? I owe a lot of people seven dollars...

Thanks for the compliments :)

Dragon Tadpoles in Color

Postby dbdoodles » Wed Jan 27, 2010 3:55 pm

A couple of months back I sketched some dragon tadpole variations. I finally got around to coloring the two I like the most. Let me know what you think!

Postby dbdoodles » Wed Feb 03, 2010 4:08 pm

Okay, why is there a naked space elf on my drawing table? And why is he naked in the first place??... on second thought, I don't think I want to know the answer...

Little Green Men: Action Poses #8

It's never too early to start practicing for the Summer Olympics. Some participants need more practice than others. Or access to better performance-enhancing drugs...

Wino Dino

Postby dbdoodles » Mon Feb 08, 2010 5:59 pm

The Wino Dino -- or Lushasaurus, as it's known in scientific circles -- spent its every waking hour panhandling for loose change, then taking its ill-gotten gains and splurging on bottle after bottle of cheap booze. Their diet consisted of pork rinds and peanuts, and they preferred sleeping in caves that were shaped like cardboard boxes or park benches. Their pickled flesh rendered them inedible, and their obnoxious behavior led other dinosaurs to avoid eye contact with them at all costs.

Armed Thug

Postby dbdoodles » Wed Feb 10, 2010 3:57 pm

I've been drawing a lot of criminals and assorted thugs lately. I better draw some cops or superheroes before the rotten thieves start taking over the site!

Hippiesaurus

Postby dbdoodles » Tue Feb 23, 2010 6:18 pm

As this ancient caveman drawing shows, Hippiesaurus -- which is Latin for 'flower child lizard' -- was blessed with massive canines suitable for a powerful carnivore, yet because in its belief in non-violence towards other living beings, it preferred to eat plants and vegetables. It especially loved mushrooms, and would often dance and chase invisible things or discuss ridiculous politics after grazing in a large field of them. Its non-violent streak ultimately led to its demise, as real carnivores found them quite delicious, if not extremely irritating...

Our little green explorers studying the local wildlife, taking notes. Oh, you can probably guess what's going to happen next. I'll leave it to your sick little minds to fill in the details...

The Butcher's Nightmare

Postby dbdoodles » Wed Apr 21, 2010 3:51 pm

Butchers in medievel Germany were terrified to go to bed at night for fear of a visit from the Bacon Demon. Like a horror story from the Brothers Grimm, the Bacon Demon would arrive unannounced in the dead of night demanding a sacrifice of fresh bacon, fried to perfection (slightly more chewy than crispy), with thickly-sliced tomatoes and lettuce on pumpernickel, a thin spread of spicy mustard, and served with chips and an iced tea with lemon. Failure to supply the required sacrifice would result in lots of whining and a sharply-worded complaint to the manager...
