Anyone else pick this up recently? Oh man...some of those stories by Jos? Luis Garc?a-L?pez are just drop dead gorgeous. The issue on the cover (issue #3) I actually remember having when I was a kid (got it from a used bookstore), and I used to carry that thing around with me when I went camping and study that badboy. I didn't realise how much better his worked look when he also inked it...amazing! While the bulk of the book is filled with stories drawn by Joe Staton, I highly recommend this book for the highlights below:

Issue 1: Superman & The Flash
Issue 2: Superman & The Flash
Issue 3: Superman & Adam Strange
Issue 4: Superman & The Metal Men
Issue 17: Superman & Firestorm
Issue 20: Superman & Green Arrow (though Lopez's artwork is let down by Joe Giella's inking)
Issue 24: Superman & Deadman

There's also a couple of really nice Curt Swan drawn issues and a Jim Starlin issue to wrap up the book.

Some amazing pages by Garc?a-L?pez below:

There's a lot of nice unpublished pencil stuff in the recent Garcia 'Modern Masters' edition ... particularly his American Civil War 'period' stuff.

I may get this just for the Lopez art in black and white. I know I have the Deadman issue and might still have the Metal Men one. Lopez drew an especially hot Dr. Jenet Klyburn in the stories with Superman going to S.T.A.R. Labs.
