Jeez Euan, that is just brilliant...the render and the composition makes this one of my favorites from you...and that's an ever growing list!!!!

...please work out the "video" thing...what a treat that will be!!!

one of the greatest caricature i have seen from one of my favorite actors.
Probably the greatest illo from you, in my humble opinion.
I loooove that you choose a profile, and a very different palette from your usual.
Excellent likeness and brilliant execution.

i bow.

WOW. Really good ONE. I must agree with stingicide, your "polished" pics rocks.

Thanks, everyone, for such a great response.

bangalore_monkey - The hair's my least favourite bit. I think I rushed it too much.

markdraws and RodGuen - As soon as I saw the profile reference photo, I knew I had to paint him. It just captured him better, and differently, than any other I'd seen.

Sirspamdalot - No, it's Photoshop. The canvas texture was added later.

vincenzoa - I've been looking into the video thing. Hopefully I'll have something to show soon.

Holy F&$# Robbie Coltrane is one freaking amazing. Fantastic. It looks like a traditional painting.
