The only negative comment is that the main character's voice seems to be miscast...it doesn't feel like it's coming out of that character's body at to me
Wow, those designs are absolutely fantastic! I kinda wish the dragon had more color to him...seems like some of his detail gets lost in that all black color scheme...but his overall look is cool and unique. Love the look of the humans...thank gawd Dreamworks is finally getting some appealing looking characters. I'll definitely look forward to the art of book.
andrew> no, i haven't worked on it, and i' m sorry for that. I was invited to a screening
and the movie is fantastic. DW's best.
It up there with E.T and Iron Giant, if i had to compare.
True, Hiccup's voice used to bother me a bit when i was watching only short random sequences, but in context, it works great. He sounds like a morphing teenager....
Seriously, folks, this is one hell of a movie. Beware.

A kid flying on the back of a dragon.
YEah, really tough sell there, Rod. In fact, I think I'll go fire up my 'Box and give my Panzer Dragoon discs a few spins while I wait for this movie to come out....
Me likey. I didn't mind the voice so much once we actually saw Hiccup doing stuff in the trailer; but at the narration part at the beginning, ugh. Grating.
Toothless looks awesome. And yeah, it's more Vikings calling themselves 'Vikings' and having horns on their hats, but I imagine the books have 'em that way, too. Looks like a lot of fun!
Looks cool. The title of this movie sounds cheesy but the trailer's nice. Dreamworks movies' designs sometimes look even better than Pixar's me thinks. I'm still not used to the Shrek route of modern dialogue in a fantasy setting even though it's sharp. The black dragon looks cool, though I wish it had some indication of color primary or secondary.
