I bought this this afternoon with some birthday money. I paid full price. I feel that I've already gotten my money's worth--what a great game! It seems that despite some modifications to some of the designs on these characters, the spirit of the Batman world is still intact. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Just beat this.

Loved it, but holy crap, what a lame final boss. I was expecting much more than that.

Great game throughout, and I'm looking forward to playing it again to get 100%.

This sums it up for me. I hadn't had a chance yet to grab it at the store...but I will soon! I showed my friend the demo a night or two ago and he flipped out over how much fun it was...

Soon...very soon...

Everyone I know owns this, loves it, and beat it in two days.

On a side note, it's quite fun to get them talking about it, only to realize that I'm actually talking about Lego Batman. "So, where are you on the red power bricks? You got all the red power bricks? I like the part where you ride a dinosaur."

Wait, Lego Batman lets you ride a dinosaur?

...damn!

I finally picked up Arkham Asylum the other day, and I am LOVING it. I just got into the medical facility so far, which confirms two things I've known about myself:

1) I hate dilapidated hospital rooms of any sort, because something about that imagery freaks me out too much,

2) Thank god I'm the goddamn Batman while in said dilapidated hospital rooms.

Quick question to the folks who played through this already: Can you eventually double-back on where you've been? I've been taking my time since I want to try and find as many of the riddler puzzles and all that as I can, but I have a feeling there's a few that I can't quite get yet...

Yeah, once you've finished it, you can go back and do all the Riddler stuff! :)

Yeah, and unlike a lot of games, collecting those secrets is actually a lot of fun rather than just a grind.

The only thing I had trouble with was a few Joker teeth here and there after I'd completed the game, there's one room in Arkham Mansion that's a BITCH to find that has three of them in it. I spent at least an hour doubling back over and over again in that whole place before I finally found it.

Just wrapped up the battle with Bane, and it has quite possibly the greatest boss battle ending I've ever seen.

The PC version is still a week away (or a few days now, I suppose) but since the game is built off the Unreal engine, some enthusiastic people have been using the demo as a means to start modding Batman's costume.

You can check out the fun endeavors right over here: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=92752

I do gotta admit, that is something that would be fun - alternate costumes for batman, just for shits and giggles.

yeah, even after having finished the story, i can't put that game down.
I love looking for all the riddles. I have about 230/240.
And i looooove all those challenges, even if some seem quite impossible to complete, without being spotted and shot at.

Did you guys download the Joker's challenges for PS3? This is really fun too.
He's got his own fighting style for the beating stages, and some great stealth moves.

No, I've got the 360 version. But apparently all the platforms are getting free DLC in a few days in the form of challenge rooms or something.

I really dig the challenge rooms, if just to practice some great takedown techniques. I can't wait to get enough points so I can get the sonic batarang and lure some unsuspecting thugs to my traps...bwahahaha!

I'm up to the point where I'm digging around in Dr. Young's office, and it's been a blast so far. Scarecrow's little area was really fun, but that ending for Bane was by far the best for me.

My favorite line so far:

"Wait, you have a batcave on the island? How did you keep that a secret?"
"It's me, remember?"

:D Beat it this morning.

Incredibly great game, and worth every cent. My only gripe now is I was I had a gold subscription so I can get the damn DLC stuff! Ah well, I've got the challenge rooms to blast through.

Which, speaking of, anyone on xbox noticed the the leading time for the first predator challenge? 24 seconds! I can't even fathom how somebody pulled that off.
