This is too cool. For some reason I always thought of them looking like Little blue John Houseman's.

yess.. .uber siked about this. Well while I draw something updated. some quick illustration GLs...I did this whole 30 days of lanterns awhile ago.

alas updated only one of them is still alive...kinda bites. anyways all illustration style (very basic no heavy shadows). Comic Style drawing in homage to alan moore coming up...to be more precise the 'F Sharp Corp'

Em:.. A very suitably creepy little Guardian of Oa indeed. Excellent sketch!
jc pawz Those are all awesome! Really nice linework and vibrant blacks. Are they inked digitally?

Here's a quick and dirty sketch from me. Brush pen and PITT grey markers and some spots of white paint.

When I was a kid, I always thought Green Lantern had the COOLEST costume. Way cooler than Batman. For some reason though, I doodled the first costume - which appeals to my older self... :?:

Great start -
Euan that is indeed a creepy (and surly and well painted) li'l Guardian

jc_pawz - great alien lanterns- my fave is larvox. They remind me of Ben10.

sarryn - great style to that Lantern - very solid

Alrighty one more. I went through my old pics and found a GL I hadn't finished drawing out...decided to finish it up.

Presenting Rot Lop Fan... created by Watchmen's Alan Moore....he is a green lantern who isn't a green lantern. Because he is of a sightless species....they created the 'F-Sharp' Corps. In Loudest Din...yada yada yada. You get the idea, all in all I dug his concept so drew him out.

Threw some quick colors...not a big colorist, but for the purpose of 'green' lantern corps I figure colors might be okay for this one.

PS Wicked Classic GL. I just finished the whole Solomon Grundy sting with Alan in there...awesome stuff.
