I know SDCC is riiiight around the corner, but anyone on the East Coast (or maybe even the West Coast) planning to attend to Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC? It'll be my first time there, and figured it might be cool to see other DB folk.

I'll be over at table SP-07 if anyone wants to stop by.

I'm not sure yet where I'll be (somewhere on Indie Island), but I'll definitley be there! I love Heroes Con...it's a flat-out blast!

I'll be there, I JUST got added to the list the other day. I'll have half a table over at Indy Island with the other half going to probably Dean Trippe? I'll also be sitting with Paul Maybury and Jason Horn. So the 4 of us will be representing!

I'm in mad dash mode to make a bunch of prints. Up until this past Thursday I thought I was just going to have fun, not actually sell. So far I have about 19 prints to offer, 11X17 on premium Kodak photo paper that I printed on my epson tabloid printer. They look really slick!

So I'll try and stop by and see any other Drawingboard members that I can! I've got a Batman painting that I'm bringing for Francesco, so hopefully he'll be there too!

We're in Indie Island too. Please feel free to stop by and talk to Fred Chao and Lamar Abrams about their new books JOHNNY HIRO and REMAKE.

We'll also have the James Jean PR3 dummy book, and a few other surprises. Looking forward to it!

Wow, there's a helluva lot of great folk attending!

Hopefully I catch most of you guys at some point or another, whether it be on the convention floor, or after at the bar or something like that.

I will have a very few copies of the Black Beetle ashcan and prints, plus other items, some old some new

Just got back! Great seeing Helix and Francesco there, and thanks for stopping by! I wish I was able to hang with you guys a bit more.

Dean, sorry I never stopped by, I was stuck at my table and I did want to drop by and say hello. My friend Chris dropped by to get a Nancy Drew sketch from you though!

As for the rest, wish I saw you guys, and I probably did, but being the oblivious f*ck I am, I probably glazed right past ya.

It was great meeting Batt and Francesco at the con! I finally was able to get the batman painting I did to him, and I got an illustration from Francesco in return!!! It was great getting to talk to Batt for a while outside of the messageboard. I always love meeting folks in real life to go with their online persona!

Had a blast, made a bunch, spent a bunch, had a ton of fun! Fantastic con that Heroes is!

I did manage to finally meet Evan, Bat, and Gorgonzola, plus see again "old" faces (Manny
Aguillera, AgentElix, MrCow, Getty among others).
I think I missed Pekar though now that I think about it....

Anyhow, BEST SHOW EVER, every year
