Yes, I'm really setting myself up here, but... my mouse wheel is getting sticky and all hurty on my index finger- you know, the one I make money with. It's a Microsoft cordless Model 1007. It's pretty easy to take apart- the wheel components are plastic, so I'm leery about using petroleum lubes.

You can make fun of me now!

Semi Off Topic but...

Chuck will you be doing digital storyboards for your Gnomon Live workshop? Or will it be more of a survey of your career like with previous event participants.

I'm not going but hopefully they'll include your program in a "rebroadcast" web edition which I'll definitely sign up for.

A survey- like of my jobs at various pizza huts and walmarts? Who's wanna hear about that? I'll be talking about and showing storyboards and the process, and doing a demo of applying some camera effects. I'll also be handing out samples of mouse lube to all the hot chicks in attendance.

i'm not sure what kid of joints the mouse wheels use, but when i worked in a hobby shop working on slot cars the preferred choice for lubing gears and bearings was what is referred to as "lite oil' as opposed to petroleum lube. It's slick, light weight, and doesn't build up like petro does, so I'd imagine it would work well in this case
