The original Sketchbook Sessions invites you to come and draw with other artists in Burbank every Thursday night!

You neglected your sketchbook duties last year. Stop feeling guilty and start drawing again in Burbank at Priscilla's coffee this Thursday during our regularly scheduled sketch night. Come by and grab a table.

We're also welcoming back fake-Korean Mark Smith after wandering around Seoul's suburbs, a giant among men.

If you're new to the sketch night, here's the whats:

-Priscilla's sketch night is scheduled for Thursdays but not usually announced ahead of time. Sometimes, 1 person will show. Sometimes, we fill the entire coffee shop. If you get there and you're the lone sketcher, usually a few more will show up. Don't be discouraged.

-Sometimes, the party wanders over to Bob's Big Boy after Priscilla's closes.

-All artists are welcome.

I am going to Bob's Big Boy when I head out to Burbank.

I think my wife was saying that it sounds like I'll be in Burbank from March 6th through the 8th, although it'll depend on flights available and our dog sitter's availability.

Hopefully after the eventual move I'll be able to attend at least a few sketch sessions a month.

I reeeeeally need to get back out there. Figured nobody would be there on New Years, had a splitting migraine on the 8th, and wanted to be home last night to watch the Legion on Smallville (I really, really gotta get DVR...). I feel like I haven't drawn a thing in a year... ugh. Not to mention, I haven't seen anyone in a long-ass time!

nau97: The Thursday sketch nights are pretty casual...just drawing and chatting. Sometimes, the big monthlies have a theme but we haven't had a themed one in years, probably.
