Oh, and my favorite coffee table artbook is probably Tarzan. I can stare at Glen Keane's rough sketches all day long.
I agree. I only saw Bolt for the first time when I picked up the DVD cheap and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I was honestly expecting it to LOOK nice, but be rather empty. God help me, I actually LIKED that damn hamster by the end!
As a Chris Sanders fan, I am still sad he was let go from that and we never got to see what American Dog might have been, but I sincerely congratulate Chris Williams on a very good result with Bolt.
I'll likely pick up the art book, but I always give the concept art books the benefit of the doubt, because invariably a LOT of very cool and interesting drawings and designs just don't make it onscreen and it's nice to see those for inspiration.
