Recording your Desktop while drawing

Can anyone recommend soft ware (preferably free) that can record a video of your desktop while doing a drawing?

Snapz Pro is not free, but it's relatively cheep. Its for the mac and it does exactly what you want. We use it at work to record "demo" movies.
