Top work Scottie.

The head and arm get a little lost with the texture added. Maybe add some rimlighting to make them pop.

This started out as a doodle while I was supervising some students who were stuck watching a movie instead of doing sport thanks to the wacked out weather we're having this week. It was originally a quick sketch of a rainbow lorrikeet's eye and it just kinda spread...

I think it's a dragon... (or a demonic parrot).

Black felt tip pen with a finishing touch-up in photoshop to get that crisp black.

nicklaskold: Hey feel free to repost your updated work!

CerraAngel: Why don't you consider your drawing an honest attempt at art? "did you copy the art from neon dragon?

A couple of things stand out for me. 1st I see three mustaches? 2nd the back limbs seem a little limp. Its not a big deal if you used someone elses art as a source just make sure you state it in your explanation, and I don't think you can copywrite it if its a copy of someone elses work. Ok I am off my soap box.

Scottie: I think the texture gives it more pop. But Krisvahl is right about the head and arm getting lost in the translation.

Krisvahl: that is one kick ass sig!

Lowman_X: That is one mean looking parrot-dragon! Pardragon? Dragarrot? IDK nice work.

Mr Peanut, I appreciate the comments, and yes, I have spent time on Neon Dragon's site, but this picture was drawn without any reference.... it's two mustaches, and a goatee.... and I see what you mean about the back legs.. thank-you.

What I was trying to say is that I consider this dragon more "true-art" rather than doodling, like most of my pics.. the few pieces of honest art, that I am still satisfied with, and don't feel any desire to completely redo, are this and another pencil piece..

Most of my art tends to run along these lines..
