I started this sculpt a few days ago and have been working on it when i find the time. I know it has errors aplenty, but your CC's are always welcome. I will post more as it progresses.

started adding the wings. post first bake.

I found that a plastic cd case is not the best thing to use as a temporary base. Her legs bonded to the plastic and when I removed her from it her feet and part of her legs ripped off. Wax paper to the rescue! :D

Ok, heres a quick tutorial on the feather.

flatten a piece of clay and cut out a feather shape

I take a tool like this and make lines one both sides

lastly I brush some alcohol one it to soften the lines.

layer them large to small one on the other.

very cool. ive only used clay a few times and its really fun, just really hard. keep it up, i cant wait to see the final product.

Eh... not so much bird wings but i did google angel wings. I used that as most of my reference material for the wings. As for the body of the sculpt I made it up.
