Dan Seven - nice pose!

I've started it over, essentially the same concept, but I think it's going much better with the alterations.

I have a question about the process of drawing digitally... or sort of a question, perhaps just a commentary... I find that with digital drawing, I need much more layers than I'd use normally, where, technically I don't use anything quite analog to a layer, except preliminary sketches in another sheet, to define better what to do and the composition (sometimes in the same sheet, if it's just for fun) and then I'd either transfer it to another sheet and finish it, or eventually finish in the same sheet, if it isn't too dirty to be "uninkable".

But in the computer I find that I get much more confused with a smaller amount of scribbles, whereas with real paper and pencils, even if it's a total mess of many subtle modifications, I can still make sense of it, not get lost in my own fuzziness of construction lines.

I wonder if eventually when we get used to drawing digitally it comes closer to the real thing, regarding this sort of thing... hopefully it does...

Em...: Very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing it progress. Truth be told, I dig it as is, but that's just me. I like the stark B/W stuff.
Moonman: Dr. Orpheus!!! How could I forget him?!! I made a list of the characters that wanted to do for the jam if I find the time and he completely slipped my mind. Great piece!
RodGuen: Oh, fantastic stuff. Great angle on Magik and excellent Harry.
blue metal: Cool.
Juan Bon Jovi: Really interesting choice. I dig it.
Silly Nate: Great piece.
extremophile: Cool Dr. Stranges.
Dan Seven: Awesome witch.

seems like we had a mystic arts one only a little while ago (or perhaps my memory is starting to fade), but this should be fun.
great sketch to start with Euan and look forward to seeing it developed.
moonman: haw...love the eloganated shape in this. hope to see it developed as well.
rod: wow...you really now how to do it. its so tight (something i normally don't go for), but in this case there's so much life to it still.
bluemetal: not sure who that is, but i dig it. hope to see it coloured soon!
bon jovi: haha...nice one. great idea and well drawn.
silly nate: great as well...almost like a cell from a witches film.
moonman (second one): cool Merlin...the little hat straight from the Boorman epic?
extremophile: nice, rough sketch. the second one is more succesful i think...just throw another layer on it and tighten it up and your there:-)
Dan Seven: gorgeous. really nice and graphic...and bold with the red dress. excellent!
rod: wow...again. two sketches from you...we are soooo lucky! love the shapes and your linework as always is immaculate.

here's a Star Warsy thingy --

Darth Plagueis discovers the secret of the force is... Cheerios!

8) i couldn't stop there and just jumped on another one....

Here's the Shaman from Alpha Flight.
I thought it'd be best if he wasn't depicted as young/good looking and muscular
as he was in the books.
