The view outside where I work always reminds me of a model railroad, so I tried a few experiments...

...kinda worked...

Fun stuff so far!

Another step I add which I haven't read in any of the tutorials is I try to skew the color to reflect shitty indoor lighting. I don't know if it helps, but that's my story.

i've been doing some of these for a little while as well. 2 are from disneyland (california adventures) & 2 from inside a recycling center: (i love that universal backlot image.)

i love these!

i made the one below a little while ago and shared it with a fake tilt focus group on flickr. soon after it got mentioned in a short article in the New York Times magazine about the popularity of the effect.

It's funny how well it really works. Doesn't seem like it should, but it looks great.
