I wasn't familiar with the name of Sickles until I started reading the biography of Milton Caniff. Now it makes me want to check out the book about Noel. Thanks for the link.

I'd never heard of Noel Sickles either, but his stuff is really good.

All those old-school illustrators had such great eyes for composition.
