PerryH - You inspired me to loosen up. ...Still looks stiff! :)

Did this with a Le Plume marker, and photoshop, Pencil tool, with Wacom tablet. on notebook paper. How can I get get the wacom tablet to work on notebook paper, you ask?
I don't know.

Like a lot of stuff here. Perry H: nice, expressive lines.

Here is mine. I was doing this late one night after work, and when her face was not looking right, I ended up obliterating it with a lot of black, hoping it would look like a scarf or a turtleneck. I kept telling myself to do a new one, one that either focused more on likeness or the drapery in the clothing, but I never got around to it. Now, I see that there's a new jam...sigh...

Also:
Please check the events section here on DB.org about a signing I'm doing with my friend, assfault, tomorrow in Concord, CA.

Thanks,
Chris

It feels great to be inspiring! I also think your drawing is loose enough. Show us more, please!

Here's my take:

Image

Ink and Photoshop. (I'm a Photoshop newbie so excuse the extremely simple grey background. I was embarrassingly proud of myself for getting it to work.)

This one took a little bit more than an hour to do. Bit more loose than my other ones. Probably cos i used a timer so i didnt get stuck on some detail.

Miranda study sketch

Postby norwester » Sun Aug 30, 2009 9:24 am

I've been a long time viewer... first time contributer. Finally decided to get my feet wet, and decided on Miranda as my first study.
