Ha! Yeah I still like the primitive bigbaby like Hulk so I thought that maybe a bit of drool would be right.

Thnx dudes and dudettes for liking the work. Love that you guys like the idea of the breakdown and the alternation aswell. One dude here by the name of Evan Shaner is now doing my little alter ego thing as well. Which I'm totally flatterd by. So cool! Thnx again for diggin it! :D

I've just now found this thread and have to say that the work is exceptional. I particularly like the Daredevil piece.

If you start drawing comics for either of the big two I would buy them.

The thing I love about all of your pictures is that it's obvious in each one that you see the actual character of the subject as being paramount, these aren't just heroes in fancy poses, your heroes have souls. Hell, just the way you can make the heroes' public alter-egos so different that they almost seem like different people (nobody would ever suspect your Clark Kent of being Superman for example) is a superb touch and really shows that you are willing to go that extra mile with your work.

Fantastic work, I can't wait to see your takes on other classic characters.

sunnynightraider, I think, really hit the nail on the head...
you're capturing the true nature of the characters... sure you're changing little things about them, but it's there.... and it's fucking sweet.
on a techincal point of view, the use of colored lines is super cool... they have a real animation feel to them....
I would let somebody kick me in the nuts if they started pumping out the cartoons like this instead of the crap their giving us now.....

you're superman...sweet.
you're batman.... wow!

but my favorite, and normally I'm not a fan... but... you're hulk is the best!

keep it up!!!!! more more more!

Eddie....Venom

Postby kizer » Sat Jan 12, 2008 9:54 pm

I guess my Eddie would be a combo of both the original and Ultimates version. A bully that is a complete ass and the dude that has all the deep down problem caused from the death of his parents and what he thinks of as a betrayal of Peter Parkers trust. My venom is basically the one that I love most. The musclular, Wild ass, Brute of a Beast. I always thought this one was the scariest. My thoughts what yours?

Apparently you are a lot of people ;)

But your Brock/Venom is my personal favorite! I love the attitude you've brought to Eddie. Perfection!
