i'm submitting some photos to a show this weekend. the theme being "the rescue"
its all to do with the birth of christ. so instead of doing the wishy washy "emo" themes. i decided to go along with the theme of christmas which is hope and joy!

my model was fantastic. this whole shoothad some of my favourite people in it.

after we did the rescue shots we did some portraits for her modeling portfolio.
she is completely natural. i didn't do much directing, let her do what made her look and feel comfortable.

The first thing I think of when I see her gorgeous curly hair and her luscious lips is the birth of Jesus and Christmas, good job!

I think your interpretation is too subtle and ambiguous.

She might be wearing a lifejacket, but she doesn't seem to need 'saving'.

I think some stronger direction from you might have gotten better results.

Some of the shots aren't bad, but I think like has been said already neither themes of Christmas, Birth of Jesus or Saving are shining through here. You have a good eye for it though.
