Great! I really liked the one of her lying on the bed by the window - the figure, lighting and even the transparent curtains are all working really well. Looks like a finished piece.

I appreciate the series.
It is an amazing glimpse into the sketchbook.

I am a fan of nude FD, but there is something wonderful in these and things that I have done that go beyond nudes. These drawings are more complicated in composition and elements than most nudes, simply because your beautiful model is interacting with our everyday surroundings.

I would be very interested in seeing some brush/ink washes. You must post the first one. I know this is probably not the first time you have tried ink, but the first one is always special because it is always a bit awkward.

This makes me want to draw and not be at work!

Thanks for the in depth feedback. I am currently doing nudes in class for my last semester, but these are just personal. I have done a nude of her which I love and will do more of but there is something about her clothed that seems more interesting, I like folds, maybe it's years of nude figure work that has made me enjoy clothed more. More to come, I'm gonna try a cante one next of Rael.

But till then when I get time I'll post up some of the newer drawings from class.

Thanks patbollin! I love drawing her, and I think they come off natural cause I try and find her in poses after a long day when she's knocked out. No better time.

Tomorrow I plan on uploading 21 images from this semesters last figure drawing class. My 17th and last figure drawing class in college.

Just uploading them...
Thanks for the comments. I have gone and made a sketch journal of the sketches of Rael titled "Rael in Ink" for portfolio. Along with my two comics and illustration. I hope the show goes well. It's only in 2 weeks. Coming from a graphic design school it will be interesting to hear the feedback and more interesting if I can find work as a comic book artist/illustrator.

hey there Sabe!! long time since I've been around here. I haven't done lifedrawing in forever!!! I miss it.

These are fantastic studies. I wish I had a subject that slept that much :D
Ever think of trying some different mediums for these? Markers? Crayons? a bleeding finger?
