yes, man. I've been drooling at the quality of the animation on those guys for some time now.
This is top notch acting.
The animators are from Weta and ILM, from what i heard.
The "Engineer" one is my fav'. The way he adjusts his pose to kick that arm, or the
very subttle axis changes on that wrist, playing guitar.
And that tiny moment when his smile gets lost before reappiring when he hears screams of pain from his victim.
Pure genious.
I wanna kiss those animators.

I started playing this last night, after pre-purchasing the Orange Box, and god DAMN is it a blast. It's amazing how "just one match" quickly turned into a near three hour session of setting people on fire. It's also amazing how well the character animations translate to in-game, as you see things like the Heavy grinning ear-to-ear after ventilating you, or the Medic tightening his rubber gloves while preparing for a round.

But, it DOES work on my work computer! And that's awesome for the little time I get to mess with it!

Man I have FPS's coming out of my ears! Bioshock, Halo 3, now Orange Box, and Call of Duty 4 coming out later. It's a good thing I love FPS's. I like other types of games but so many must-haves have been FPS's this year. Hell even Oblivion could be considered one. I can't wait to get my hands on Orange Box though.

UGH! I didn't play HL2 on the PC because my PC can't run it. I rented it for the 1st Xbox but didn't play through it all. I heard about the 360 version so I decided not to play it again until it came out on 360.

Now I read in a review the original HL2 in Orange Box is an Xbox port not a PC port! Sure it's only 1 of the five games and the other 4 games (Episode 1&2, Team Fortress2, Portal) are compared favorably with their PC counterparts but I can't help but be a tiny bit disappointed.

Oh well I'm still getting it and I just have to settle for slightly higher res and textures for the original HL2 that comes with it.
