I've been torrenting (if I can verb that) this stuff for years.
It's amazing.
However, one word of caution - do not get yourself wrapped up in total Stateness (if I can adverb (is that an adverb?) this) because the movie, The Ten, is not what I would consider to be all that great.
With the right group of people, perhaps it is absolutely hilarious - but dealing with a girlfriend who is not in any way familiar with the state, it was only 60% enjoyable.
This has got to be my all time favorite State skit:

Although theres porbably a bunch I dont remember that I am looking forward to re-discovering when I get the DVD set. Whoo!!!
I downloeaded Season one from Itunes and wass disappointed to find that all of the music in the skits had been replaced with generic keyboard music. This destroyed skits like "Barry and Levon" which depends heavily on Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" for timing and mood.
Let's hope they leave the original music alone.
MTV has an arrangement with all the record labels that allows them to freely use music in their programming without having to pay royalty fees. When the shows go to dvd, however, or rerun on another channel, that agreement is no longer in effect, so MTV either has to pony up the license money or replace the music. It's likely that all the music on this dvd set will be replaced.
July 14th! Five disc set, commentary for every episode!
I loved this show so, so much, and every time I've managed to see a sketch or an episode since, it's held up completely. Some of the funniest, most bizarre sketch comedy out there, and it's finally coming out of limbo.
