comparing the first sketches you posted with the latest studys show that you`re really improving... congratz^_^ but it seems to me that your not using your anatomy skills on your character designs and sketches, it seems that you`re copying them without using your knowledge about anatomy. nevermind, keep up practicing as much as i try to xD
gogo keep it up

sorry bout the harshness. i was just picturing you frantically drawing/posting/drawing/posting, and speaking really fast and eating your break fast really fast like your flyin on speed or something. no hard feelings ok?

NO prob.

Well no hard feelings. I've been offline for a while. Stupid plugs. Anyways, the anatomy application is kinda difficult cuz I'm going back and forth between gesture and anatomy and getting them together is a shaky marriage. Any ideas?

Postby Anubis523 » Mon Jul 16, 2007 4:22 pm

Here's a couple of sketches from my fifth sketchbook this year. Maybe I can finish at least 12 by march of next year that would be great. Crits and comments always welcome.

well your gestures should really be about anatomy. while your drawing gestures dont just scribble out a pose, isntead scribble out anatomy. always be thinking: line of action, head, neck, ribcage, deltoid, and just kinda skate around the figure loosely, hitting those land marks. and be sure to do them fast like your..... well like your on coke.
