Hi Matthew, thanks! I just called it a barstool because it was a stool, and it was in front of a bar ... I don't actually have a clear idea in my head of what a barstool is!

Perry, I like the sense of gesture that you have in your drawing, it's very fluid, and has a lot of attitude.

Spacejack, yeah I had the same problem too! Making sure he wasn't grabbing his man-parts :eheh: Something about your drawing makes me think of old-style detective comics. (is also somewhat flattered that you decided to refer to her work.)

Setix, your choice of shading makes me think of film-noir-films.

benjamin: You've got a strong sense of structure in your portrait.

Tuco: The face on your painting really reminds me of Bogart hehe. Nice job though, I really like the shadows and high lighting.

Aggy: I like it, it's very simplistic and has great style to it.

I scrapped my first drawing because I started it when I was sick, and then when I finished with it, it was crap. So I drew this one instead. The only thing that bothers me is the amount of time I spent trying to make the face look like Ewan and then finally not ending up with it looking like Ewan. I guess I don't really "see" men's faces.

The title of my drawing should be "Lupin III" lol.

krisvahl, not sure if the Underground map is appropriate for Trainspotting as only a short part of the film is set in London. But I think it works brilliantly as texture and is appropriate for the drawing as he looks more like an East End gangster than he does Renton.

Also kind of ironic that people are commenting on Ewan being fully clothed as he's rather well-known for getting his todger out in the films he does.
