An animated Transformers show?

It'll never work!

I've seen some development for this show. Believe me...it's going to be fucking amazing.

I hope so, cuz that logo and that Optimus look awful to me. I love Wyatt's work... but based on this one image, I'm very skeptical.

...which just means I'll be easier to impress when clips surface :)

That's kind of cool, actually. Bumblebee looks great.

Is this the first time there has been a motorcycle transformer?
I doubt there has been one, they are called the autobots after all.

The new image makes it look a little less horrific, you can definately see the Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes influence in these, and I have to admit I like that style.

But what's wrong with making the Transformers actually look like the transformers?
I can see they did it for the film to make it look realistic, but the designs for cartoons have never really been the problem to me.

in the original movie (and subsequent TV seasons), there was ARCEE, a female autobot and the JUNKIONS

Drugs, turn in your geek badge! Arcee wasn't a motorcycle until the "Energon" toys came out a few years ago!!

...anyway, the "Autobot" moniker was quickly divorced from "automobile" way back in G1 times, with guys like Seaspray and Powerglide (geez, they sound like deodorants). So motorcycles are fair game... one just hopes that if a motorcycle Transformer wanted to keep hidden from humans, he'd have a holographic rider... or else he'd attract notice pretty darn quick.

So much for my old opinion from the article; I really dig this poster! Still iffy on Prime's face, but his limbs don't look to have such wavy lines as in the promo pic. Bumblebee looks pretty cool, and his car mode's very similar to the Classics version released recently. Ratchet's kinda cool, too. I'm guessing the motorcycle's Prowl? The blue & red lights on the back of the seat make me think 'police', and he's got Prowl's forehead crest, sergeant stripes, and 'wings'. I like it.

I fear the big guy's supposed to be Ironhide. With his olive color and big white star, though, he SHOULD be Hound. And is he really that big? Which is the 'scale' version, the vehicle mode which looks half the size of Prime, or the giant robot that Bumblebee's jumping off? I do like his Omega Supreme hands though.

That Prime sucks ass. But the Bumblebee looks cool.

I had read somewhere that they were gonna be fighting humans more than Decepticons.

And they all look like they have police lights on them.

i thought she was like a weird cybertronian version of a motorccl...didn't she ony have 2 wheels?

i haven't seen seasons 3 and 4 of the show since i was like 7 or 8, and she's in robot mode for almost the entire duration of the movie

Could be she only had 2, but she's so flat & wide she still looks more like a car. She fits right in with Blur, Kup, and Springer. But I, too, haven't seen the post-movie cartoons for a very long time :P
