That commercial reminds me of Patton Oswalt's album... bands that could rock so hard they changed the physical properties of things! "Hey man, that cheese sandwich isn't grilled! Squibbly-flabbily-doo!" and it'd become a grilled cheese suddenly, and he mentioned the Damn Yankees video where the cops had the band cornered in a house, and Ted Nugent walked out for his guitar solo and was deflecting bullets with the power of his rock. "Where were the Beavis & Butthead copycats when that video came out? We could've lost the entire mullet haircut in one weekend!"

Anyhoo... yeah, this game rocks :)

I finally bought this yesterday, and now my hands are nothing but smoldering, withered claws of pain.

Pace yourself. I pretty much destroyed my right arm after Christmas and New Year's.

:( Awww! I've been waiting for a good time to use that pic. It's kinda old, I know, but if it's that nasty I'll un-link the pic.

First time through, it was a bitch for me for some reason.

I redid it last night on Medium, and I four starred it on the second try.

Now all my hate is going towards Trogdor.

Honestly though, the only song I just don't like playing is Them Bones. When I have to do that one, I just start grumbling and sort of trudge through it.

The only track in the game that makes me furious is "Institutionalized." That song can eat a dick.

I'm really looking forward to playing "Carry Me Home" tonight. I love playing that song.

Don't like playing it or just don't like their version? Cause I will admit, their cover is assmilk. Same with Killing in the Name. I was so stoked to see that song in the game...till I actually heard it.

I don't like playing it. It's a boring song, and much like the original version, it sort of sounds like shit. How the hell are supposed to know if you're nailing a solo in an Alice and Chains song? It all sounds like muddled garbage no matter what you do with the controller, because it's Alice in Chains.

I cannot do Cowboys From Hell or Bark At The Moon in Guitar Hero 1. Like, at all. I get kicked off stage about 45 seconds in.

I really like playing Beast and the Harlot in GH2 - it was my "show off" song (5 stars on medium) when I hosted a GH party this past weekend. But then I googled Avenged Sevenfold, saw the video on youtube, and realized they were a bunch of douchebags.

I'm probably going to go and get the original game this weekend. I hear it has a bit more forgiving a learning curve than part 2. (Seriously, why is Surrender a first tier song in 2, when it's harder than all the tier 2 songs combined?)

Plus, it has Bad Religion on it, and I do love me some Bad Religion.
