SawDust :) I hear they can be fun, but they tear up the furniture something awful, not to mention leave it a smoldering mass. :D Fun pic. Thanks for throwing it in. :)

I'm currently trying to apply my meager skills to illustrate a children's story my father has written and it just happens to be about....a dragon. Anywho this is a very rough page mock up, of the dragon hatching.

This thread has inspired me to try and get this thing finiished. Mabye i'll have more to add before long. (keep your fingers crossed)

A sketch I did before I started my dragon Sculpture. This is just prelim and i made some changes in the actual design but it gets the idea across.

Drue Your skills are not so meager. That's a very cute little pic. Please plug in a few more when you can to show us how it's going with the book. :D

TheAtomicTerrier That's a great sketch there and an awesome sculpture. I know you had your own thread started on this so thanks for brining it on into this thread too. I tried to leverage your thread a little to get some more folks to input here. There are just so many talented folks that I'd love to see ( and I'm sure others would too ) some more input from the talent pool.

I encourage anyone out there who is a first time poster to bring it on too! I think, this is a great thread to break the ice and show your stuff. There have been a few first time posters already and they've all had some wonderful pics. It would be great to see some more. :)

leej Yes, that's a little different. That's one of the things that is cool about dragons, there are plenty of interpretations to go around and yours is yet another one. I hope your friend liked it. :) I do. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the Drawingboard! :D

lach Whoa! What a fine batch of dragons! Those are just begging to be colored! Thanks for sharing them with us! Also, since you are relatively new and only have a few posts I will also say to you, welcome to the Drawingboard! :D

Wow! This is turning out to be a great thread for relatively new folks, and even first time posters and to me that is super cool. To all you newbs, don't stop here, there's lots of places to plug in your other stuff on the Drawingboard, and a great bunch of folks to crit / help with your work. Hope to see more from you all as well as even more new folks adding their pieces. Keep laying down the lines and keep sharing! :D
Later,
Mike S.
