Wow, Lorenzo... love the designs and the colouring job! I think I've seen the sliding dragon elsewhere -- and it's still terrific!

Yeah! More great stuff! Thanks again to mr. Peanut for starting this thread! Apologies for sort of pirating it buddy, but dang I'm having fun! :D

Francesco Yup, that's the one. Damn he looks like one tough SOB!
Sable Phoenix Yep, I'm thinkin' the magic thing has got to come into play too. I like your concept too. At first glance I thought he had a rocket attached to his back and was really hauling butt. Even though they are magical it might be good to make them a little more evident as wings. Still, cool pic! Thanks for sharing! :D
teemo  Yeeeehhaaaa! Or whatever knights says when riding a dragon. Too much fun! :D
LORENZO! Yes!!! That it! Good ol' Hush! He cracks me up. For anyone who hasn't seen LORENZO!'s stuff, you should really check his STUDIOBLINKTWICE thread in the comic / storyboard layout section. You won't regret it! :D
VladC Another good one. Nice job on how you made his body flow and followed it out. Looks good. Keep 'em coming! :)

munkymu Thank you as well.

I just kept scribbling until I got this.

mcsween, I love how raw your dragons are, with the sharp edges and cold eyes. I can absolutely see why someone would ask you to draw them a tattoo- I'm feeling inspired to ask you to draw one for me!

LORENZO!, that guy is totally fun! I'm going to hunt down your other thread for sure.

I'm certainly not qualified to critique anyone, just have to say how much I enjoy checking out everyone's work and the different perspectives.

Hey everyone thanks again for all the contributions to this tread, I never imagined it would get so popular.

mcsween, thanks for picking up my slack! You seem to have covered all the comments I wanted to say, by the way I'm liking the scales!

Vladc: Man you have been busy doing one a day nice work.

Theatomicterrier: thanks for making this a sticky, and I love the dragon sculpture. I hope you don't mind but I might borrow from you design for one of my own sculptures.

Again thanks to everyone that has contributed to the tread! :D

It was so inspirational to see all these, that I had to try my first dragon. This sketch is mostly from imagination...

Next tweaking and colors... maybe inks...

I'll comment other works later, when I have more time. For sure.

EDIT: Few changes...

Great to see all the new posts!

VladC Watch your vanishing points! The line that the inside of his mouth, end of his jaw, eyebrows and horns actually looks like they would intersect at a point closer to us rather than further. I dig the meanness though. :) Keep 'em coming.
TheAtomicTerrier That is far out! :D
ponylicious Thank you for the compliment. :)
peckerw2 That is a serious ride that dude has! Not a pair to be messed with.
Obi Wan Shinobi  You goof! :) Too funny. Sort of a Mel Brooks kind of humor to it.
Hazart The ones we dream up are the best!!! :D
mr.Peanut Thanks. :D

Not much in the way of scales on this guy. teemo posted a nice one with magical wings. Here's a possible counterpoint. No magic, just brute force. Go ahead, you tell him he can't fly. Too much fun everyone! :D
