Here's my contribution. I might do more with it once I get some feedback.

I've been looking forward to this - cracking start, Gannon. Both protagonists look about evenly matched

Here's mine:

I really shouldn't do this, with the other stuff in my plate, but...
HELL, how can I pass on Hellboy?!? :D

First the comments on the kickass entries so far (I am sure this thread is gonna rock! :))
Gannon: I love the curve you have going with his head, neck, shoulder - very
cool! :D
Euan: terrific lighting on this, brother :D Love the little highlights on the horns and
top of the head :)
Jason: the first one is way too cool: nice angle there :D The last one is a perfect
tribute to Mike's style :)

And here's mine. I had just the heads drawn for awhile and this thread, this morning,
pushed me to finish it off (even if it got a bit more elaborate than initially planned ;))
Witches can be bitches... sometimes :P

Cheers,
Francesco

So I was waiting at the dentist's office for fillings when I saw this thread.
I can't do much with a laptop touchpad, but I made this placeholder. It looks like it belongs on a t-shirt. Took under 10 minutes in Photoshop.

Great jam so far!

jasonbaroody Great illustrations. The first, second and third are my favorites ( I couldn't decide). I love how you channel Mignola in the third drawing. Your natural inking style, with your thin lines and stark shadows is actually very close to how Mignola inks. I'm surprised I never noticed it before.

FrancescoI wouldn't expect you to resist this jam. Monster/superhero character with high contrasts. This jam was made for you. Great picture. I have to admit that it's a bit humbling that you spit out a new picture this good in less than three hours after the jam was posted.

Ultraist Nice doodle. I love cartoony heroes.

Steve-O That's just damn cool.

PetersonUnless I missed a post, I haven't seen you around in a while. As always, I dig your take. I especially like the third one. The stronger constrast pulls the eye around the page.

Wow! That is fantastic em...! I love the perspective and lighting!

This is both my first jam and my first attempt at this style of drawing. I'm still more or less starting out and trying to find a good rythem. So far, I'm really digging this sketchy style. I'm not the biggest fan of Hellboy, but I figured I would at least try to give everyone some background information on the character...

Cool! I like these pics. All of them. Hellboy is one of my favourite comics characters. Nothing special, but here is some try-outs.
