My iTunes on my other computer. HELP!

OK, I can see how Apple wouldn't be too happy with people trading or giving away their iTune MP4s, but damn, is there a way for me to listen to my iTunes on my computer at my girlfriend's place? Unfortunately there's no internet connection at ALL at her place, so when I try and play any of my bountiful collection of 99cent diddies on my G4 there, it asks for a name and password, and when I enter the correct info' it says it can't process that stuff because there's no means to connect to iTunes. Well duhhhh.

So how am I going to be able to play these songs on my G4? I mean, I paid for these songs so I should be able to play them on MY computer.

You can play them in their native format on up to 5 authorized computers.

To authorize a computer you must have a net connection. (you may also be able to call Apple tech to authorize manually).

If you wish to get around this you can burn your songs to CD in an mp3 format and then you can transfer them anywhere.

How did you get your songs onto your girlfriends computer?

Don't blame apple for the need to jump through hoops. The record companies placed these restrictions on the music.

I did burn them on a bunch of CDs. Weren't those in MP3 format?? I basically grabbed them directly off of my iTunes library screen and dragged them into a CD and burned. I transfered them onto my G4 but the songs obviously recognized it as a different computer. Was there something I did wrong? Are they originally MP4s?

Transfering them by CD.
