My book is just about ready for the printers. this year it's not only girls, and I'm dropping the extra coin for a 40 page colour book. I don't know what I'll sell it for yet though.

I'll be at the Chicago Wizard World with three friends. I don't know My booth numbrer yet.
I hope to meet a bunch of board folk there.

The drawing is beautiful as always, but the layout needs work.

Hope you don't mind me giving you my thoughts on it.

You have used three different typefaces and with sloppy kerning that needs attention. I would stick to max two including the font used in the head. Adjust the lines throughout the whole layout, in this case mainly the text elements. Perhaps taking a closer look on were the text should be placed on the page and why. The head is competing for attention with the pic as it is now, the layout could benefit from toning down the head just a tad.
The placement of the pic is ok, she is facing inwards the page which is good but why crop it that high up? Put bleed on the pic or mask the lower edge with some other element.

I love all of your work, I have a big maverikanim-folder with your stuff that inspires me a lot. And if I had any money at all I would buy this book instantly.

Amazing drawing, but i agree with Vik in regards to the layout/type. There's no need to make any drastic changes, it can still be very simple and effective.
