Wow, great stuff... I thought it really nice when others take the time to comment, so I tried to hit everyone. This actually isn't easy to do... in no particular order (and sorry if I mispell names or missed anyone):

Rikkenian - beautiful, tremendous tremendous style. I love it.
3pu - awesome, feet, hands and legs especially.
Kevin - "wall-worthy"
arton bay - really fluid. Great.
dpoder - Gorgeous!
cmon - all energy, really vibrant
muthrgoose - great, her attitude really comes thru
johnny lightning - love her shape, love the energy
coffeeboy - cyborgirl!
reef - great feet and hands also!
hey g awesome cartoon version
dol another awesome cartoon version, I style I can't pull off at all. The economy is great
flipsidezw - great expression of attitude. That's her.
Visual Myriad - just beautiful.
klortho - lovely and expressive.

Whew.

Here's mine:

Hi,
Just found this site, really cool stuff everyone. J. Lightning: I liked the use of grays
3PU: totally nice
dpoda: was that all done in painter? I'm just now getting started with that program
Kevin: totally wicked. Your piece inspired me to come check out the whole jam thing.
Keith1: nice work on the overall figure
If anyone knows of any cool tutorial sites for Painter 9 that would be great, I'm still working on mucking my way through. thanks! -Owen

Great jorb everybody!

3PU, kevin, and Rikkenian's are my favorites so far.

Here's mine. Inked with a brush.

I've been having some neurological troubles, so my touch isn't what it used to be. Hopefully it's coming back. Peace.

Nice work Em, way to land a pretty tricky likeness.
UNICRON & BeLiAL as well, both nice solid pieces.

3PU- Yay, I'm not the only new person posting here! I love the way you handle your lines...

Kevin- Jesus friggin pooper-scooper! I showed that gorgeous piece to everyone who will humor me enough to look. That is perfection in 2D.

Em- Already posted this elsewhere but you couldn't ask for more from that painting. It looks gorgeous.

dpoda- Oh wow, it looks like a practice portrait that painters use to just lay onto the canvas really fast with the edge of their palette knife thingy. So neat-o!

Ooookay, a friend of mine (maybe some of you know Fabian from CBR? I was told you might) posted some pictures of mine on CBR, and some of the feedback included a link to this website. I've been lurking and marveling at all the talent, but I figure I'll post something finally.

I didn't even pretend to go for a likeness because I suck, I just liked the pose and thought crinkly hair would be a fun new challenge.

Ehhh.... Go easy on the new girl, hm?
