EDIT: This is updated to give those of you coming to the thread for the first time a little overview...

My brother Bob (writer) and I (Art) as The Etherington Brothers have been producing original comic material since 2003 and are the creative team behind Malcolm Magic, Monkey Nuts, Baggage, Tusk and MOON! We have also produced comic work for Tranformers, Star Wars, Terminator Salvation, Dreamworks' Monsters Vs Aliens and Dreamworks' Madagascar. Our comic clients include Lucasarts, The Random House book group, The Guardian Newspaper, Harper Collins, David Fickling Books, DreamWorks, Viper Comics, Slave Labor Graphics and Titan.

This is our sketchbook...

Glad to see you putting up a new thread that I have been literally DYING with anticipation for it to go up!
Every piece amazes me, as usual, and for the first time I am seeing something that I didn't see before. For some reason I see a little bit of Winsor McKay in your work. Which I happen to LOVE Winsor McKay's work (I have picked up all the books that have came out lately on him).
This thread will definately inspire me to finally put up some Headcase stuff!
Thank you for finally posting this, and I look forward to much MUCH more!

Hey Matt! Ah, thanks SO much for these great words, dude! Yeah, I love what I've seen of McKay, though I can't admit to having seen very much! That time period (20's-40's) really inspires me though! Yes, we had some issues for a while with hotlinking, and then for a while I could only post images from the site, but now it's all fixed, so expect this thread to contain many , MANY images you won't even see on SBT.com!
Glad it encourages you to get your own stuff up, that's really cool!
See you back in here soon, man, hope we do you proud!

Well, it's Easter Sunday here in the UK, and I hope you're all having a great time wherever you are. As it's a holiday for me, I thought I'd post something a bit different and (hopefully!) a bit special. So here's a pic I did of a Girl. Don't get the chance to do much stuff like this, as I'm always drawing that rabbit or strange aliens! Hoho! Hope some of you like it!

Happy Holidays!

That's reallly nice!
Not something I expected, but it's a good thing.

I am finishing up the pencils for the Headcase cover which has a car from the 1950s in it, so I'll let you know when it is posted...

Hey Nyala! Thank you!

Hey Matt, thanks, bud! I'm gonna try to throw a few curveballs like that in every now and again, just to keep folks guessing! Hoho!
Yeah! Damn right you'd better come in here and let me know when the Headcase cover's up! I'm looking foward to it! You the man!

Okay, so here's another web flyer for One Night in the City. I think this goes a good way to summing up the style, feel and mood I'm trying to get across with the story. Hope you dig, folks!
