Personally, I think this franchise has been in decline since the first film, "Archetypes".

He should be done with these characters, if he isn't already.

There are rumours circulating that he just ripped the whole idea from an old Jean-Luc Goddard movie les r?ves des caract?res: ils sont faits (the dreams of the characters: they are done)

He must be done with these characters. My understanding is six of them have gone in search of an author.
(thanks for the tip, Luigi!)

He's actually a good friend of my sister-in-law's husband and he doesn't really like all the press obout the characters these days. Word on the street up here in Canada is that the characters are going through an eyebogglingly hip redesign due to the latest succes with the looney tunes makeover. So, in a sense, he's done with the character but make way for the new and improved (and slightly shinier) characters.

Unfortunately it may take some time before the characters are ready but he says to look out for his new subjects. Oh he! Will your genius ever end?

I'm amazed that we're seeing these characters again... I mean, just last year I read an interview where he was asked about a sequel, and he said, "The studio said, We'll get a bunch of teenagers up to the Arctic! and then I just rolled my eyes."

I'm glad he was able to bring the franchise to a close without going straight-to-video.

This brings back fond memories of 'PINK HULK', from the old Image Comics board, who would come in on Saturdays and dispense fashion tips and club reviews all in caps.

Brother got me a dodgy betamax of it from Big Len down the pub, watched it last night and by and large thought it was a pile of shite. The book was better.

I just wish I could figure out what to do with all these stocks I have in the company... all this speculation is driving me crazy. Buy, sell, buy, sell... I just know I'm gonna lose my ass on this thing.
