Dragon Quest VIII

Am I the only one playing this?
I bought this over Mario Kart DS because I love RPGs even though I don't play nearly enough of them, and I haven't regreted the purchase for one second.

It's like playing a lush anime fairy tale.
Great characters, beautiful symphonic score, horizons to stare off into.
This game is a work of art.
I can just turn my character into the sun and watch it rise. Even better watch it set on the ocean.

Granted I can't review a game to save my ass, but the PS2 is pumping out some serious visuals at the end of it's system life here.

Go rent it.
Fall in love with it and then buy it.

'Think these were only obtainable if you preordered this game.... though, i noticed Gamestop selling 'em for $40.

I'm waaay too involved with Mario Kart to even think about buying a new RPG right now; 'too many good games came out these last 2 months. 'Cant keep up!

My S.O. saw one in the gamestop he bought the game from. He told me about it when he got home. I made him take me there the next day so I could see it and it was gone ; ;
The people there said every store got only one.
It looks really awkward to hold but it's soooo cool.

Heya Tracy! 'Just picked up 2 of these Slime controllers if you want one. They're 39.99 plus tax, so $43.29. If you want one, just let me know. If not, i'm sure i'll have noooo trouble finding a home for it. :)

See ya,

I heard that the top of the slime is all squishy so it's comfy when ya hold it.

I must have a copy of the soundtrack.
