Drinking and drawing really don't mix, but this seemed harmless enough.

Grazie, gentlemen.

If there's anything harder to draw than a f*cking bell pepper, I can't find it...

Actually if you reduce this images enough they look photorealistic. Just check out the thumbnails when you enter the forum.

I like some more than others
It'd be easier if they had names or at least numbers.

Wonky and crooked can be very beautyful.
Or at least a lot more interesting than a smooth
accurate tracing which is dead boring.
With the painting it's much the same thing.
The trick is to get the wonkyness to work
In a way that enhances/brings out the subject.

Some of these are strong stuff

filipeg - I'll take that as a compliment. Means my shapes and values are okay, maybe..

Cavebird - thanks for the crits. I guess I like some of them more than others too, which means I should be more selective about my postings. (I'll label the pix.)

wonkiness. Drawing, and especially watercolor, is an ongoing tug-of-war between tightness and looseness for me. I aim for loose but usually slip off into sloppy; then it's back to tight. It's an ongoing battle. A bottle of cheap chardonnay and half a six-pack...
