I like some more than others
It'd be easier if they had names or at least numbers.

Wonky and crooked can be very beautyful.
Or at least a lot more interesting than a smooth
accurate tracing which is dead boring.
With the painting it's much the same thing.
The trick is to get the wonkyness to work
In a way that enhances/brings out the subject.

wonkiness. Drawing, and especially watercolor, is an ongoing tug-of-war between tightness and looseness for me. I aim for loose but usually slip off into sloppy; then it's back to tight. It's an ongoing battle. A bottle of cheap chardonnay and half a six-pack...
