Wild West Thread!!!

Postby travismoosehead » Fri Jun 10, 2005 1:29 am

Greetings, I was sittin around last night dreaming of doin the diving course I'm embarking on in the chilly waters of south east ireland in a month or so and I ended up with this. I know I'm not nor never have been a thread starter but I'd love to see peoples' versions of wild west scenes. It was always the best genre in Hollywood history. Anyway anyone out there interested feel free.

Tom.

Hi travismoosehead

love the first two takes, very different in style but both cool.
And I love the idea of the thread, so I would suggest, to start it, to change the title in just Wild West thread :)
This is something I did few months ago for the european thread: I will have something new soon, hopefully.

Later

the ronin and rod guen; two guys work i've been really enthralled with since I started on the board; this is brilliant stuff altogether.

Rod 'if that is in fact your real name' I love the lines and the expression,.... nothin else just fantastic draftmanship! Legend!!!!! IDeadky execution in the lines of action always. Someday I'll start to put into practice what you're preachin!!!!

The Ronin; what can ye say that's a lovely scene man, background and composition are amazing and lethal expression in the characterisations. Love your work man.

The one I'm postin tomorrow ,I hope you'll have a gander ,is more compositional widescreen stuff, rough and all but i HOPE you guys will like it. But we need loads more artists involved

This is brilliant I'm thrilled! Need loads more!!!!!!!

Rod, Ronin, Travis, gorgeous stuff!
I'm not much of a Western fan, but I thought I'd contribute anyway.
Cheers

Tyler I've never wanted to be in a barrell so much in my life, it looks claustrophobic enough to be bearable in there!!!!!! Funny thing my brother in law from the countryside in Ireland; 'bogger country' we call it;was only talkin today about how they were washed and bathed in barrells on fine days!!!!! I'd imagine Tyler's scene to be plenty more enjoyable! Lovely work man she seems to be inviting people in there......

This is supposed to look a little like Doc Holliday in Tombstone. Don't know if I succeeded.
