This is a great opportunity to view the working methods of brilliant penciller Tom Grummett.
Since his early days as an artist working on independent comic "Star Rider and The Peace Machine" Grummett has displayed an intuitive understanding of the dynamic human form in space. Twenty plus years later Tom has honed his craft in mainstream comics to become a top figurative artist delineating the adventures of various mainstream superhero characters.
Give yourself the chance to see how Tom constructs the human form in deep space over and over again with grace and character.

What: THE CLASSICAL FIGURE: Structure and Anatomy for the comic artist. Tom shows basic tips in constructing the traditional 8 head figure in deep space from memory. An artist practicing figure concepts that find their roots in the Renaissance, Tom builds characters that are a blend of tight realism and careful distortion.
