One evening after we had a jam session, we packed up our gear and went out to the car and this was the scene that we saw in the parking lot.

This photo is 100% real and untouched

Pretty colors. You need to sharpen the image. It is out of focus a little.

Yeah the original is a little sharper....it softened when I reduced it to fit on the website.....I figured the sacrifice was worth it to get those colors out there.

One possibility is to crop most of the ground detail, leaving just a hint of it and sharpen the image in photoshop.

Yeah I see what you're trying to do....very cool! it's effective.
However if you're going to crop the groundplane off and leave just a hint of detail on the bottom, the only concern would be balance for composition.
I think if I cropped it i would just crop off a little on the bottom, maybe not as much as you have but enough so that the white of the ground balances with the bright orange of the horizon line.

Hahaha no no it's not a bad thing that you're critisising my work, I'm just challenging your feedback.....in a nice way of course!
But the newest re-hash of my photo that you just put up is awesome hahaha
I love the little addition of the light posts in the BG, very subtle...but highly effective.

Hhahaa I know what you mean.....that sky blew me away.
It was one of the neatest experiences I've ever had just looking at the colors.
